Internal Rules of Hotel Audran 

 

In order to guarantee your safety and to make your stay as pleasant as possible, we ask you to comply with the hotel's internal regulations and to undertake to respect them.

Arrival

Hôtel Audran welcomes guests 24 hours a day all year round.

All persons staying in the establishment must present a valid form of identification at check-in. Failure to do so may result in the Hotelier refusing to rent the room and/or cancelling the reservation.

Room occupancy

Rooms are available from 2pm on the day of arrival.

They must be vacated by 11.30am on the day of departure at the latest.

Any late departure (by agreement with reception) will be charged €50. In this case, the customer must pay the supplement at reception before 11:00 and must vacate the room by 13:00 at the latest.

Late departures without the agreement of reception will not be tolerated.

Extended stays must be reported to reception by 11.00am (subject to availability). All extended stays must be paid for at reception before 11.00am;

All bookings are made in the name and on behalf of the Customer and may under no circumstances be transferred to a third party, whether free of charge or in return for payment.

The Customer may not bring into the room third parties not known to the Hotel without the latter's authorisation.

Any luggage left in a room without a rental renewal after 11:30 a.m. will be removed from the room and can be collected by the owner from the hotel reception.

Access to the rooms must be provided at least once a day so that the Hotel staff can clean them, unless the Customer expressly requests otherwise. Failure to provide cleaning services at the express request of the Customer shall not give rise to any compensation.

In view of fire safety regulations, the Customer may not reserve a room for a greater number of people than that provided for and/or have the room occupied by a greater number of people than that for which it is provided for in the reservation or by the Law in force.

Children

Minors may not stay alone in a room. In accordance with the general terms and conditions of sale, minors must carry personal identification. If the accompanying adult is not the minor's legal guardian, he or she must be in possession of parental authorisation from the child's parents.

Children are the sole responsibility of their parents or accompanying adults. Any damage or nuisance caused voluntarily or involuntarily must be paid for by the person who booked the room, unless that person can establish an external cause.

Children up to the age of 2 (inclusive) may stay free of charge with their parents. However, the Guest must let the Hotel know in advance if they require a cot, as we have a limited number available. If you wish to request a cot, please email contact@hotelaudran.com at the time of booking.

Access badges

Magnetic room access cards are allocated personally, so please take care of them and report any loss or disappearance to the hotel reception immediately.

The Client must not entrust his/her room card to a third party and must return it on the day of departure. During their stay, Customers must leave their room card at reception each time they leave the hotel and may recover it at any time by giving their room number and name to reception.

The Customer must ensure that the door to his/her room is closed before leaving the room or going to bed.

The Customer shall not bring any stranger into the Hotel without the Hotel's consent. All persons entering the Hotel must report to reception.

Behaviour and dress code

The Hotel reserves the right not to accept Customers whose behaviour is contrary to public decency and/or public order, or who behave in a noisy, improper and/or alcoholic manner.

The Customer must remain courteous and respectful towards the Hotel staff and other customers. They shall refrain from any verbal or physical violence, any behaviour or remarks of a sexual or racist nature, sexist remarks and, in general, any discriminatory remarks as well as any form of harassment or denigration.

The Customer shall exercise discretion so as not to disturb the service or the peace and quiet of the Hotel.

The Hotel reserves the right not to accept Customers whose dress is indecent and/or negligent, or whose clothing is intended to conceal the face (Law N°2010-1192 of 11 October 2010). Correct dress is required in all public areas of the Hotel.

Responsibilities

The Customer accepts and undertakes to use the room and the communal areas made available to him/her in a reasonable manner. Any behaviour contrary to the principles of safety and/or hygiene, public decency and/or public order may lead the Hotel Owner to ask the Customer to leave the establishment.

Safety deposit boxes are available in the guest rooms. The hotel accepts no responsibility for valuables deposited in the safes.

Furthermore, any request by the Hotel to open a safe will be made under the Customer's responsibility. The Hotel cannot be held responsible for any items left in the safe by the customer.

Luggage in the public areas of the hotel is under the supervision and full responsibility of its owner.

In accordance with our General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the rules relating to theft in the Hotel are set out in Articles 1952 to 1954 of the French Civil Code. By way of contractual limitation, in the event of theft of objects from the room or within the confines of the Hotel, the damages due to the traveller are limited to the equivalent of the room rental price per day.

Any health problem (circulatory, cardiac or respiratory problems, allergies, asthma, etc.) or pregnancy must be reported to the hotel.

Booking and payment

All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the offer.

All services must be paid for by the Customer on arrival.

The Customer shall pay his/her room bills and incidental expenses at the intervals set by the Hotel and at the latest when he/she leaves the room at the end of the stay.

Bans

For safety reasons and out of respect for everyone, smoking (cigarettes, chicha, etc.) and vaping are strictly prohibited on the hotel premises.

In accordance with the provisions of the French Public Health Code, which sets out the conditions for the application of the ban on smoking in places intended for collective use, smoking in the Hotel exposes the Customer to the fine provided for third-class offences or to legal proceedings.

Penalties equal to a maximum of the price of the room booked may be applied if the Customer does not comply with the notice prohibiting smoking in his/her room. In addition, the Hotel may charge the Customer a cleaning fee of at least 200 euros per room if this rule is not respected.

Finally, repair costs may be charged if fire detectors are tampered with or damaged.

For obvious safety reasons, it is forbidden to use gas or electric appliances such as stoves, hotplates, etc. in the rooms.

The equipment made available to the Customer in the room must be used in accordance with its intended purpose.

It is strictly forbidden to bring into the rooms or any other part of the establishment any illicit and/or dangerous objects or substances, any type of object or toy with the appearance of a firearm, any type of object or toy that may disturb the peace and quiet of other Customers (megaphones, horns, etc.).

During the Breakfast Service, the Customer must not bring drinks or food from outside sources, unless expressly authorised by the Hotel in advance or unless it is food for infants and young children.

It is forbidden to run, roll (skates, scooters, etc.) or shout in the establishment, day or night, to hang laundry in the windows, to throw any object out of the window and, in general, to behave in a way that may cause any kind of harm to Hotel Guests, Hotel staff and/or the reputation of the Hotel.

It is forbidden to take photographs of other occupants of the Hotel or staff, unless the persons concerned have given their express consent.

Animals

Pets are not allowed in our hotel.

This does not apply to guide or assistance dogs. In order to ensure everyone's peace and quiet, animals must not be left unattended. They must not interfere with the cleaning service.

Forgotten effects

Items left behind by the customer may be sold under the conditions laid down in the

Law of 31 March 1896. If the customer wishes to return their personal belongings, the shipping costs will be paid by the customer. These shipments must be tracked and insured for valuable objects.

Damage

Any damage caused in the room or in the various areas occupied during the stay may be billed directly to the Customer.

Nuisances

For the respect and rest of other Customers, the Customer and accompanying persons must ensure that they do not slam doors or make noise, particularly between 10pm and 8am.

Any neighbourhood noise caused by the behaviour of a Customer or one of his/her companions may lead the Hotel Owner to ask the Customer to leave the establishment, if the noise is such as to disturb the peace and quiet of the Customer (art. R-1334-30 and R-1334-31 of the French Public Health Code). Any compensation offered to a third party as a result of noise caused by a Customer may be billed to the Customer.

A hotel room is a place of rest, where all commercial activities are strictly forbidden. Cooking is also prohibited.

Security

The safety instructions posted in the hotel, which you are expressly asked to read and respect.

For your safety, this establishment is under video surveillance (Code de la sécurité intérieure, articles L251-1 to L255-2 & R251-1 to R253-4). Customers must comply with safety instructions in the event of an incident or in accordance with current regulations.

Health obligations

The customer must comply with all health requirements in force: wearing a single-use surgical mask, Covid health pass, etc. The masks must be brought by the customer.

Skulduggery

Skimming is an offence involving the consumption of goods or services for which a charge is made:

By knowing that they are unable to pay or by being deliberately determined not to pay,

All the while pretending to be willing to pay.

The Hotel will take legal action against the Customer in the event of the latter's skulduggery. This offence is punishable by 6 months' imprisonment and a €7,500 fine in addition to damages.

Acceptance of the internal rules

The hotel's house rules apply to all bookings. Any stay implies acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale, the house rules and the special conditions.

Penalties

Failure to comply with the above provisions will result in immediate termination of the contract and financial penalties may be applied.

As a result of non-compliance with the Hotel's internal regulations, the Customer and all persons sharing his/her stay will be asked to leave the Hotel without being able to demand any reimbursement.

In addition, the Hotel may refuse any future reservation, as well as any Hotel affiliated to it.

The Customer is reminded that he/she may refer the matter to the Consumer Ombudsman if he/she feels that he/she should contest the Hotel Owner's decision.

The Customer shall indemnify the Hotel against any damage caused by a breach of these rules.
